Snow Day Tech Wishes

As I sit here with my doggies on my snow day I wonder how technology could have connected me to my students at home. This is just wishful thinking, if all my students had technology they could use at home. Could we have taken short videos of the weather, how much snow each home received, how we spending our snow days and posted them for our class to see? Could we have created a digital snow day book and then shared it with everyone class? Could we have all done an experiment with snow? This is just wishful thinking. Many times when I think about technology in education I think about how it can impact my students learning in the classroom. These back to back snow days made me think about how I could use technology to connect with my students outside of school.
